Barnes & Noble and Kobo are now live as well. Of the major players, only Apple is yet to come live. I uploaded the book there on July 10. Just waiting for the product page to show up.

I wish there was something I could do to make Apple come up faster. I know a lot of you like to buy there. Sadly, all I can control is when I upload. From there, the retailers do what they want. If you’re an Apple user who is tired of waiting, I suggest either downloading the Kindle App for you Apple device (it’s free) or going to Smashwords and getting the epub. Of those two, I recommend the Kindle App. I use it on my iPhone all the time and love it. Once you have it, you never have to wait on Apple to come live with a new release ever again!

    Just finished The Rose Ransom and wow. Wow, wow, wow. Can’t wait for the next one, these books are brilliant.

The Author

For more than 15 years Spencer Baum wrote blistering pageturners with sci fi and horror elements.

His first novel was used as a textbook in a Harvard classroom and was optioned for a movie by Brand New Productions in Hollywood. His second novel was an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Semifinalist. His Girls Wearing Black novels have been fantasy and suspense bestsellers on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.

Though he was able to make a living from his books during the early years of the digital publishing revolution, the changing nature of that marketplace meant that he had to rejoin the real world in 2019 following publication of his final novel, The Tetradome Run. He now works full-time and writes very little. This web site remains up for those who have recently discovered his books.

He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and three children.
