The Author

For more than 15 years Spencer Baum wrote blistering pageturners with sci fi and horror elements.

His first novel was used as a textbook in a Harvard classroom and was optioned for a movie by Brand New Productions in Hollywood. His second novel was an Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award Semifinalist. His Girls Wearing Black novels have been fantasy and suspense bestsellers on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.

Though he was able to make a living from his books during the early years of the digital publishing revolution, the changing nature of that marketplace meant that he had to rejoin the real world in 2019 following publication of his final novel, The Tetradome Run. He now works full-time and writes very little. This web site remains up for those who have recently discovered his books.

He lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and three children.
